Hey everyone, welcome to my very first blog post! I'm very excited to share this journey with you all. Starting off with some background info, CB (Cidjy Bossuet) Artistry represents me and my artistry, ranging from Photography to Mixed Media. I see myself as more of an Visual Artist using Photography as one of my mediums, also branching out and offering my artistry services to those interested.
Throughout my years of high school it was a constant battle deciding on my career path. Thinking I would be in the health career, I attended a college preparatory high school for students exploring careers in the health field & was later selected as a Bicentennial Scholar. Deep down, my passion had always been the arts. I was stuck in doubt of not making a living for myself if I were to have a career in the arts. It was not until my senior year of high school where my journey nearly began. During my spare time, I always found myself either photographing my surrounds or recreating my images with the help of Photoshop. In result, I was selected as a YoungArts Finalist in Visual Arts, by the National Foundation for the Advancement of the Arts, in January 2012. I was flown out to Miami along with other Finalist to participate in YoungArts Week. During the course of the week I got to meet other talented artist from all around the world in other disciplines. I worked with distinguished master teachers and showcased my work at the Miami Arts Museum. This opportunity and life changing experience was an eye opener, it was my answer had been searching for throughout my years of high school, I realized I had to pursue my God given talents. Being named a YoungArts Alumni along with some previous Notable YoungArts Alumni's such as Kerry Washington, Nicki Minaj, Hernan Bas and Vanessa Williams was a true inspiration.
Following my passion, I decided to attend art school. I'm currently majoring in photography with the end results of obtaining a BFA.
I will be using this blog to post updated work of clients, personal work and possible promotions. Lets work! Please feel free to contact me anytime about a photo session, my rates or any other questions!
